Can anyone give advice on pet travel? We are planing to go to Greece from Australia. ?

We have a small 3 year old jack russel cross fox terrior. We are not sure how it is done and wondering how much it will cost and the conditons in Australia. If any one has any feedback it would be highly apprecaited. :)

Jules, if you are planning on visiting Greece, and returning to Australia, I recommend that you board the dog in a kennel in Australia. This is a 30 hour flight, and the charges for the dog will be AT LEAST $40 per kilo each way, and may be 2 or 3 times that.
Austria Airlines has single-carrier service from Sydney to Athens with connections at two places en-route. For more information contact Austrian Airlines directly.

If you take the dog you will need to get a clean bill of health from your vet, and satisfy the entry requirements into Greece.
