Default We are traveling across Australia, any idea where I can find out where service stations are along the way?

Travelling from Bendigo Victoria to Perth WA. Just looking for a site that might give details of stopping places along the way.

Not sure, but I would think that Rule 1 on the remoter sections would be if you see a roadhouse, fill up.

Have a look at this

The NRMA Travel Planner might help. Just enter Bendigo and Perth and you'll get a list of towns and sights along the way. http://www.mynrma.com.au/cps/rde/xchg/mynrma/hs.xsl/travelplanner_pop.htm

I have done that trip many times you need no worry there are petrol stations etc every 300 - 400 k's sometimes even closer.

Once you're on the Nullabor it's a straight road for 1200K's if you do a web search on the Nullabor it will give you a map and details of places to stop at. Not very exciting though not much to see out there other than carnage dead roos, camels, wedge tail eagles etc just be very careful.

It would also be a good idea to have a UHF Radio in your vehicle so you can talk with the truckies and they can let you know what is happening along the way, road hazzards etc and especially overtaking road trains they will give you a heads up if you are nice to them on the radio.

Cheers
