Default Can you travel from the United States to Australia by boat instead of plane?

I was wanting to visit Australia one day but I'm a smoker I couldn't go 24 hours on a plane. Also I think it would be pretty fun to take a boat but I have no idea if this is possible. If anyone knows about this please tell me. Thank you :)

Some freighters have limited passenger accomodations or you could try a working trip. No idea where to look though.

You need to get into the Jet age. Theres no commercial flight in the world which is 24 hours in duration.

you would be surprised how quick the flight goes
we are all smokers and flew from Canada to Australia with a quick smoke break in LA and we were all great

btw it wont be 24 hours, longest stretch is 14 hours from LA

24 hours??? Where are you coming from, The arctic circle.

Its only 14 hours mate from the west coast, and the most maybe 19 hours from the east coast. But yeah you can go by boat, I reckon I would be a smoker too by the time I got here by boat....
