I thought all restaurants in Austin were Mexican?
There are no good seafood restaurants in Austin. Nothing against Austin, but I had a business trip to Boston a couple of years ago, and all I can say is WOW, they ain't braggin' 'cause it's true! Honestly any one of them that does NOT say Taco Bell on the side is usually a good bet. |

Look at some of the review's under "source". Doesn't say if they are cheap or not but does say whether food was good or not.
My friend and I are using this coupon book from ENTERTAINMENT and are trying to hit up places we've never been. Don't have the book with me for restaurant name but we went to this Mexican restaurant in the shopping center at Rutland/N.Lamar behind Burger King. We were a lil'nervous because communication wasn't the best since neither of us know Spanish.... waitress could communicate a little with us and was great. We got full and took A LOT of food home. I had chicken/beef fajitas and she had a huge burrito the size of her plate. We tried to split a tres leche cake... it was good but that had to come home too lol... We were too full. I believe all the menu plates were under $11. We have parties all the times at Baby A's & La Palapa too but I think Baby A's is more tex-mex. |
