would the Univeristy of Texas in Austin accept a 1610 on SAT?

I've been told its a pretty good score. but I know its not the best.

That's a little above average. If you're in the top 10% of a Texas high school, you'll get in. If you're not in the top 10%, you have very little chance of getting in just because of the top ten rule. Over 70 percent of the students they admit are in the top 10% leaving very little room for students who aren't.

I'd study a bit and retake it either way, it can't hurt. Good luck!
