What's the cheapest hotel to stay at in Austin by Emo's or Austin Music Hall?

I will be flying to Austin next month to attend 2 concerts/shows. One will be the Melvins at Emo's and the other will be Black Label Society at Austin Music Hall on the next night. Are there any inexpensive hotels to stay at in those 2 areas? I probably will go out for a few beers before each show. I am planning on getting around on foot or taxi. I went to yahoo maps and each venue is approx. 1 mile from each other. I am not looking for luxury in a hotel. I just want a place to shower and crash for the 2 nights I will be there.

I used to live in Austin. They don't know what inexpensive is. One thing I would recommend is you visit 6th street at night. It is a very active area and full of the night life scene. If there are any events happening in town they jack the prices up on all hotels.

No hotel in downtown Austin (where your conerts are) are cheap. Cheap would be on I-35 prior to downtown. Hope this helps!
