your best bet is to drive south about thirty minutes and stay in San Marcos...the hotels are cheaper and you'll be pleasantly surprised............

Use FareChase, after you see the list of hotels, narrow them using the map!!!

I dont know about hotels but there is an Italian restaurant on Guadalupe ST. the name is Miltos Pizza on the sign it might say Mediterrenean Cafe but the food there is sooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I would try the Gyros

It's still tourist season...even the normally cheapest average fairly high. Try motel 6 or days inn
