There's quite a few stables around but I've tried most and Post Oak Farms (they do have a website) in Burnet is the best and worth the drive. Not only are the horses great, but it's not the typical nose to tail ride, and once Helen knows that you can handle horses well, she'll let you ride off on your own. The land is pretty too.
