Where are restaurants/bars that play live music in Atlanta?

One of the best is PUB 71 in Brookhaven. Never a cover charge and great live music every Thursday - Saturday. you can check out in advance who is playing on their web site.
Great place for music, awesome food, great service, a total good time and wonderful staff.

Fuzzy's Place. Great live music at the intersection of N Druid Hills and Buford Highway.
By the way, the parking lot connects to a cuban restaurant, The Havanah (I know, not very original) that has the best Cuban sandwiches.

Pappadeaux (a cajun seafood kitchen), located in Marietta, Alpharetta, and Norcross that feature live Jazz musicians on the weekends. I'm not sure about all three locations, but I know for sure that the one in Norcross has a large veranda and open patio where various local bands play. It's a nice environment, good food, but can get VERY crowded on the weekends (and sometimes even the weekdays), so prepare for at least an hour to get a table.

My absolute FAVORITE is sambuca, a Jazz cafe, on Piedmont Rd. in Buckhead with live music every night of the week (just about). They shut down Buckhead on the weekends, especially if 107.5 is hosting a particular artist, which does happen frequently, valet parking is available and like my first recommendation it gets off the hook on the weekends so plan accordingly.

These are two of my favorite spots, Pappadeaux doesn't feature bands as often as Sambuca but both are great places to eat and have drinks.
