I would recommend the Wingate Inn at 6 Flags. It is only 10 minutes from downtown, and only 3 years old. It has lots of annemities, and is very reasonable. Price, around 80.00 per night.

You know what, I think the best way to find a great hotel at a great price in the Atlanta area is on Priceline. com. I visit the Atlanta area a few times a year, and I've always had the greatest luck with Priceline. I've always used the "Name Your Own Price" feature, where you name the price you want to pay, and they choose the hotel in the area you wish to stay. Now they have a feature where the hotels and prices are listed and you can choose from that list. But I think the other way is better, because you really get GREAT deals. We've stayed in Wyndham's, Doubletree Inns, Sheratons, Holiday Inns, and other top class hotels and we've never paid more than $75.00 a night for a room, but usually it's around $50.00. Give it a try, I think you'll be pleased.
