The strange thing is that we dont have all the information about what happened in the events prior to the entry.
Basically, from waht Ive gathered by reporters on T.V. (which means only part of the story) is that a small police group aquired information that drugs were being sold at this ladys house. Only disclosed today was the fact that it might not have been the old lady who was the actual target -- but no one is saying who it COULD have been. and the fact that a small amount of drugs WERE found seems to be set aside by reporters who want to only get the hot story. All we know is that granny shot 3 officers -- get down granny 'when my granny was a 92 .. she could shoot much straighter than you..drive on granny granny drive on now' kinda shows the effectiveness of a police entry force when it takes 4 to take out granny, with 3 getting shot. So, now the key elements -- is whether or not the police were informed by a drug dealer of all people. A black drug dealer, who could change sides as quickly as he wants. And why the no knock warrant was issued. Well, same story over again. i say were drugs confiscated in the place is the determining factor. If they were, then thats proff enough soemthign was going on. Just like todays democrats and civil rights groups complaining about the surviellancing of telephone calls and emails overseas. and lets not forget the civil groups who say subjecting prisoners to music constitutes fricken torture. what we are doing is making it too diffcult for policing authorities and soldiers to fight the fight we need them to contend with. If drugs were found at the scene...then someone was selling them, thats against the law -- mission accomplished. (not I know people will argue, what if the police planted them there -- every lawyers dream .. a grandmother who got shot selling drugs or allowing drugs to be sold from her house) Just like the thief that sues the residents of the house hes trying to steal from because he tripped and fell. What have we become. If we are going to make it so difficult for our law enforcement, why dont we just legalize drugs and let everyone do what they want to. Bottom line is -- if granny had drugs, or allowed someone to have drugs in her house -- she deserved to be entered upon. People are too fooled into thinking that all grannys are nice wonderful people. well some old ladys are the rottenest people youve ever met. anyway...focus should be on the drugs!!!! If no drugs found -- cops must pay If drugs were found -- justice was served |

Here's another STUPID example of the law. The cops had an informant which in a DRUG CASE was used as "probable cause" to go storming into an old lady's house. I guess the "informant" is a distant relative of Mother Theresa and is very reputable.
Unlike me, in my money laundering case, I am thrown out as an informant because I was honest with my identity. Obviously since the paper trail of concealed cash is BORING compared to catching drug dealers, MY case goes into file 13. Atlanta - Gwinnett- police are IGNORING A CRIME!! If they'd look, just look, the bank records will VERIFY everything. THAT'S where they'll get probable cause. But no one can look. It violates the criminal's PRIVACY. Who was protecting the little old lady's privacy of her home? I see privacy doesn't matter alot if DRUGS are alleged. ******Hey- police dept- I WON'T LIE THAT IT'S DRUGS JUST TO GET YOU TO LOOK! **** |
