I am flying on airtran and I have a layover both ways in Atlanta. What is there to do and eat during the layover? Also, what is airtran like if you are flying on cattle class? thank you.

Your time between flights isn't that long. Atlanta airport is huge and there are lots of shops & food outlets.
http://www.atlanta-airport.com/ I-Pods and portable game devices are great for flights & layovers. A laptop is also practical during layovers There will be electrical outlets in the departure lounge that you can use to run the laptop and also re-charge an i-Pod or game device. Also pack one or more books that you have started, or that are from an author you know. It's really annoying to realize - too late - the book you brought for the flight isn't a good read. Other options are crossword puzzles and similar. |

Believe it or not 2.5 hour isn't long at all.... And that's saying your flight is on time into Atlanta. (Which it probably won't be) There are a ton of shops and places to eat! Whatever you do, do NOT leave and go up the escalator to baggage claim! It will take you 2.5 just to get back in! Stay within the terminal that your flight is leaving from... One of my favorite things to do there is people watch....Its funny to watch everyone scrambling!
Airtran is great... My favorite airline by far... Coach isn't so bad... Plus free head phones! lol |
