North Atlanta Pet Friendly Restaurants?

Hi,

I'm writing an article for an upcoming online magazine about dog parks and dog friendly restaurants in Atlanta (North Atlanta, to be specific, like Buckhead, Dunwoody/Sandy Springs, up to north of Alpharetta). I was hoping to take my beagle mix Pete to a dog park and dinner, and write up the experience.

Thing is, it's hard to find any restaurants that will let me take my dog and sit on the porch. The only one I've found is Au Pied De Cochon (near Lenox, I believe), which looks to only do this Pooches on Peachtree thing on Thursday nights.

Any suggestions? I think there is one in Alpharetta, but I can't be sure. Any searches for "pet friendly restaurants in Georgia" lead me to the same few restaurants located downtown, which isn't what I'm looking for.

Fellini’s on Howell Mill. You obviously cannot bring your pet inside but they have outdoor seating and you can bring a dog as long as they don’t enter the dining area.

You’ll just need to bring a leash and tie it to the railing but he’ll be no more than two - three feet away from you.

Check out this link, it has 60 places on file that are pet friendly. Hope you find something from it. I just put "pet friendly restaurants in atlanta" in the space that says,
"research your answer" on the answer page for your question. I fiind alot of stuff that way.

i quite often sit outside with my dog at la madeleines by perimeter mall. they will often times even bring out a bowl of water for her without my even asking!

my girl and i quite frequently go here after a romp in the doggie park.

and hey, post your article or a link to it when its done!!! i would love to know where else i can go.
