Default Hotels in Atlanta, Georgia?

Are there any that you really love or really hate?
I'd want to be in the area by the Atlanta temple. (The Mormon temple) I have a relative getting married there.

There are lots of good hotels in Atlanta.

I like the hotels by the perimeter mall, mainly because I have stayed there so much.

The Marriot and the W are both good, and the W has awesome food.

Part of this depends on what you are trying to do. For example, my wife and I stayed at the Embassy Suites downtown...right next to a Ruth Chris' Steak House...and across the street from the Omni/World Congress Center area. I picked there as we were going to a concert; had dinner reservations at Ruth's; and could just walk back & forth to/from the concert...no worries with drinking & driving! Also, the Embassy Suites put on one great breakfast!

In the galleria area, it's not a beautiful area but the Doubletree Suites is AMAZING! The only thing -- no free internet. Aside from that, the suites were nice and the price was great.

Residence Inn downtown by Marriott is good. Very clean and the staff is so friendly and helpful.

I was there this weekend and I saw the Temple so I know I was pretty close to it. The Holiday Inn downtown is nice also the Westin and the Hyatt on Peachtree street.
