Can anybody recommend a restaurant to eat at in Atlanta?and where to shop?

Killer Creek is great, but pretty pricey if you are on a budget.

Shop at Ikea for cool things for your home....the best malls to go to for your shopping pleasure is..Lenox Square or Perimeter Mall..

The Varsity is a MUST to eat at!

Shopping would probably be best at Phipps Plaza, or the new Atlantic Station.

As for restaurants, the problem isn't finding one; it's choosing one. There are a myriad of places to dine here, and it all depends on your taste or budget.

The Buckhead Restaurant Group establishments are second to none, and they offer different cuisines at different locations, but they are all expensive. For more moderate pricing, there are places like Gordon Biersch brewery, Roxx, Taqueria Del Sol, Ted's Montana Grill...the list is endless, really.

If you want to eat and then shop somewhere different go to the Virginia Highland area. Great Restaurants and then you can walk the sidewalks and shop. Not your ordinary shopping experience but like I said different. I like Murphy's and Everybody's Pizza.

You can also opt for Little Five Points. Good Restaurants and interesting shopping.

Try CheeseCake Factory in Buckhead, pricey but a great dining experience, also Atlanta Fish Market,

I recommend to shop at the Avenue. it has tons of stores. Jonny Rockets is also located by the Avenue.It a great reserrant.For eating, if its for a special occasion the sun dial.it is very fancy and is located downtown Atlanta up top the Weston hotel.

Ruth Chris Steakhouse. Best steaks in town. Go shopping at Lenox, North Point Mall or Little 5 Points. Try to take in a Thrasher game at Phillips Arena and check out a tour of the CNN center. Enjoy you stay in Atlanta.
