Shopping would probably be best at Phipps Plaza, or the new Atlantic Station.
As for restaurants, the problem isn't finding one; it's choosing one. There are a myriad of places to dine here, and it all depends on your taste or budget. The Buckhead Restaurant Group establishments are second to none, and they offer different cuisines at different locations, but they are all expensive. For more moderate pricing, there are places like Gordon Biersch brewery, Roxx, Taqueria Del Sol, Ted's Montana Grill...the list is endless, really. |

If you want to eat and then shop somewhere different go to the Virginia Highland area. Great Restaurants and then you can walk the sidewalks and shop. Not your ordinary shopping experience but like I said different. I like Murphy's and Everybody's Pizza.
You can also opt for Little Five Points. Good Restaurants and interesting shopping. |
