I am staying there this weekend. If you have spent a night here, can you share your experience? Also, any suggestions for a good place to have dinner within a 3 mile proximity would be lovely too! (Totally carless for the weekend)

I've never stayed at a W hotel. I'm still saving up! but i'm guessing you will enjoy your stay, The outside doesn’t look like anything special but the inside is very nice. From what i hear, they provide top notch service.
Anyways. Dining will be no problem. I'm guessing price is not a big issue since your staying at the W. So i will start with the nicest With in 1 mile/ 2minute drive there are what seem to be a zillion quality eateries $$$$ (Must have reservations) McCormick & Shmick’s McKendrick’s Steakshouse Flemings Steakhouse Chequers Fire of Brazil (Brazilian steakhouse) $$$ (May need reservations) Seasons 52 Brio Tuscan Grill Houstons Houlihans Goldfish Garrisons Broiler & Tap $$ (No reservations needed) Joey D's Oak room Cheesecake Factory PF Changs American Cafe Maggianos Outback Carrabas Sumo Hibachi $ Olive Garden Applebee’s Smokey bones Chili’s Macaroni Grill California Pizza Max & Ermas Cheeseburger in Paradise Taco Mac Well, there are a couple places that i can't remember but i think i mentioned 95% of all sitdown places. If you are looking for dessert or coffee for a night cap i suggest going to Cafe Intermezzo, The have a LARGE Glass Case full of Cakes, Pies, & Cheesecakes, They also offer at least 60 types of Coffee drinks. Its a cozy place and 70% of the crowd is young folks impressing their dates. They are open LATE as well 3am or something. Just pick a place and ask the Hotel, they will give you easy directions. Don't forget Buck head is about 6 miles south if you really want to splurg and get up to the $$$$$ range. But Perimeter Area should have everything your looking for! |
