when you get there go to the screens and it will say all the names of cities and times the flights are leaving. look for yours and it will say which terminal next to it. you really only have to worry about terminals when you drive or get dropped off. once you are making a connection it only takes a few seconds to figure out where you may need to RUN.

oh and i'll be flying to atlanta thursday for the record and i heard the airport is a nightmare.

It should say on the tickets you get in the airport you depart from. Its a very large airport but they have trains that go from each concourse but its still a long walk to the trains. Im sure if you ask for a wheel chair they can provide one for you. And there are golf cart type vehicles driving back and forth that will drive you to the escalators that go to the trains for a small price. And since its a connection in Atlanta its gotta be atleast an hour or so right becuase the connections there are forever had one 6 hours one trip. Hope this information helps if you got any more specific questions about the airport let me know ive spend way to much time there traveling alot.

it is the busiest in the world, call ahead to your airline and tell them your situation and make sure they have someone meet you at the gate with one of those golf carts. its a courtesy and they are more than happy to help you and will make sure you know where your connection is and get you there. just call the reservation number for your airline or go online and get it....here's the website for the atlanta -hartsfield-jackson airport (yeah thats its name..originally just atlanta then hartsfield was a mayor and so was jackson...) most georgians just refer to it as hartsfield.... http://www.atlanta-airport.com/

call ahead and get wheelchair service.
it is a huge frickin airport. there are a million gates, etc. i think they also have a cart that travels around to bring people to their gate. it all depends on how much time you have between flights.

Yes, there is a way of finding out. Go to the airlines website and put in the flight as if it was today or tomorrow. Usually the gates are the same every day or close to it. There are gate changes at the last minute but you can atleast get an idea. Then if the person you are traveling with cant walk good, go ahead and have the record documented for a Wheelchair. Make sure they know if it is just for long distances, if they cant do stairs (if its a regional jet) or if they cant walk down the aisle and will be a carry on. That way they can be pushed from one gate to the next.

Atlanta is not hard to navigate. Its just that the concourses are long and if you get slotted down at the end, it can be a hike to get to the train if you have to change concourses. If you fly in on any airline other than Delta, you wont usually wont have to change concourses unless you are flying International. Each airline, with the acception of Delta is one a specific concourse. Delta is on all of them with C and D mainly for Comair and ASA. There is a golf cart for people to get from one end of a concourse to the other, and its faster. You can use that to get down to the train faster than someone who would push a wheel chair. The escalator and elevator go right to where the train picks up and then you can just get on the cart again when you get back up to the next concourse if you have to switch. They pass by frequently or you can just hail them down.

Below is a map of the airport. I worked for Delta there and know that place inside and out. If you need help, shoot me an e-mail or IM with your Flight #s and I'll let you know where they are coming in and going out of.

that is one huge airport...and i mean it...it really depends on how fast and far you can walk...if you are traveling with someone that cannot walk very well, you should most definetly request trasportation between gates (especially on Delta as they serve ALL the concourses other airlines usu. serve one concourse) and as i said earlier...it is a huge, nightmare airport...always have tried to avoid it and always will...
