what is the endo-china loop (for traveling)? and why does backpackers get bad rep?

is it backpacking through thailand, laos, cambodia and vietman? is there a specific route to be taken? what are the advantages and dis avdanteges? thanks.

There is nothing specific as far as back-packing goes. It is all up to you what sequence or places you want to visit and by what means etc etc. You can look up Lonely Planet Guide on backpacking trips through the destinations you wish to visit and draft out your travel plan.
