sometimes we questioned why detected "made in china" toys be allowed to be sold in the UK , might be we should ask ourselves why we allowed swine-flu infected high temperature british kids to leave UK ?
it was "defected" ,not detected , typing error. if you do not what I am talking about ...please watch the BBC news or ITN news , SKY news ... |

Why did their parents let them go in the first place if they had high temperatures?!
I'm sorry but if my son was about to fly to China and yet complained of feeling unwell or having a temperature he would not be going! Even if I had to go and collect him from the bloody airport!! I don't care how much money I might have spent on the trip, I wouldn't send my child half way around the world if he was sick! At such a time he belongs at home with me! I can't help thinking the parents are to blame here. It is their responsibility to ensure their child's safety and wellness. |

Probably because they didn't have the symptoms and it's their own requirement to make sure they're fit to travel, especially when informed of the strict controls at your destination. It's their fault, and that of the teachers and parents. If you want us to live in a Nanny State where people are checked at all ports of exit, please allow 5 hours at the airport, increased tax/airport tax to pay for the people and equipment and don't complain about the safety culture that bans skipping ropes in primary schools.
