Hi there,
A friend and I have decided we want to go to Asia. We have 5 weeks from about mid-April and a budget of between £1000 and £2000, including flights. What is the best way to go about doing this? I've been looking at gap-year sites but they all seem to be one destination, which would take up our whole budget, and not sure whether prices include flights? Any advice would be appreciated. |

Fly into Bangkok for about £500 return, from there there are many low cost airlines flying around Thailand (eg Phuket, Chang Mai, Krabi) from where you can see some fab places / beaches / towns.... you can also easily and cheaply get to Cambodia, Laos (my fave place EVER), Malaysia etc....
We spent 4 months in these countries (plus Indonesia and Singapore) and travelled extensively by plane, bus, train and boat, I reckon £500+ spends for a month would be about right. It is the most amazing part of the world, I really hope you go! |

Efcollegebreak.com has a trip to Asia thats around $2,000 but includes round trip airfare, hotels, tours and transportation. they bring you all the different places within Japan for 9 days and another trip brings you all around Thailand for 14 days. I travel around europe with Efcollegebreak alot and use the discount code Vincig7397 to save money on trips to. I highly recommend them..they take care of everything for a pretty inexpensive price and me and my friends have a blast
