Default China traveling itinerary advice?

I will be in China this Sunday, I will touch down in Shanghai Pudong. I'll need to go to Ningbo, Tonglu and Wuxi and leave on the 1st of November. Can anyone help and advise me to plan to visit which place first, second and third and the best transportation to and from each place. Thank you.

Not a lot of time to waste in trendy Shanghai bars...what a shame....

Wuxi is only one hour and a half by train from Shanghai. Trains are very frequent, and if you take the Shanghai-Nanjing route and get off in Wuxi, travel is under one hour (train starting with a D). Then from Wuxi, you could go to Ningbo by train again, the trip is a bit longer, average is 7 hours, but the fastest is a T train (Nanjing West -Ningbo line) that takes about 5 hours to get there.

To get to Tonglu (I assume you mean Tonglu in Zhejiang, and not the one somewhere in the Himalayas) you will have to go through Hangzhou. It takes about a little more than 2 hours to get to Hangzhou by train. Many trains and different lines throughout the day. To get to Tonglu from Hangzhou, you will have to take a local bus as there is no train or plane going there. It will take around 1,5 hours to get in here from Hangzhou by bus on a highway and it will cost you 26 RMB. Take the bus to Tonglu from the West Bus Station or the People's Conference Hall in Hangzhou, then change to a minibus. It's pretty confusing and stressing especially if you don't know Chinese...You might also consider taking a taxi from Hangzhou, but that will be quite expensive but perhaps easier especially if you don't speak Chinese and don't have a guide to help you with the bus tickets and whatnot. Return to Shanghai will have to be through Hangzhou, then from Hangzhou by train up to Shanghai, but that part is easy.
