Philippines for sure
everything is cheap there
the only problem you would have is the traffic
but the sites there are definitely worth it

Each country have its own characteristic. I love travelling and I want to travelling more with the unique country, with unique art, culture, society, natural view.
Before you go to one of Asian country try to search on the internet the best vacation you like, (i dunno what type of vacation you like, back to nature vacation or safety vacation with organized schedule). Don't forget to read peoples tradition & cultures they have, food, etc.

I like to go to Bali, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Korea, Japan, and many Asian countries. I don't like to go to country with predicted to have political problems & unsafe.

My first and only trip to Asia was to China and it was beautiful! The people, culture, nature... If you're white, you have to get used to being stared at, but the overall experience is great. If you're looking for a cultural experience, don't go to Shanghai. Its pretty much another big city. Go to the smaller and more traditional cities and towns. They're so much more fascinating! Even though Beijing is huge, its very old-style and traditional.

That was a silly question. Depends on your preference. Different people would give you different answers. Honestly, to say "XXX country is the best" is quite narrow-minded.

I've never been to Thailand, but Thailand sounds like a wonderful place to go. Not only in Bangkok, where there's horrible traffic and smog, but to the farmlands and the beautiful crystal blue beaches surrounding the country.

The airfare's quite expensive from the US but everything else is
wonderfully cheap.

Thai food, they say, is one of the greatest in the world.

Thai religion is Buddhism. They had a peaceful, bloodless coup d' tat there only two months ago and the tourists went next to the
army guys and took pictures next to them!

I hope to go there and do a farm stay and help sow rice in the spring or in the fall when they harvest it. I think the lodging was around $8 per person per day. (City girl with a country heart talking here. :-)

It depends on what you want to do.

My favorite big Asian city is Singapore. If you want the big city atmosphere, go there. It is clean, diverse, has great transportation and has a lot to do.

Japan has a very interesting culture.

Thailand and the Philippines both have great beaches.

Think about what you'd like to do and make a decision.
