Biz travel to China!!!?

Me and my wife are planning to visit China and/or HongKong,
1-when is the best time(cheapest) to travel
2-what do you think we can bring back to U.S. so at least our expenses will get covered

October is the cheapest time to travel, February will be expensive and next summer will be the most expesive as the demand for Olympics and seats will be crazy and drive prices high.
