Do I have to get a visa for India before I start travelling in Asia?

I am flying to Malaysia this month and going overland to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and then on to Inida and Sri Lanka, do I need to get an Indian visas before I go or can I apply for it whilst I am travelling, if so which would be the best country to apply for the visa. I have a one way ticket to Kuala Lumpur. Can anyone see any problems I might incur? Thx

No you don't need an India Visa for you to visit these other places. You need a visa on that country that you will be going to, usually Asian countries do not require a visa for a tourist visit but check on your Embassies just to be sure.
