What are the best clubs in amsterdam?

I want somewhere that plays r&b, reggae, hip hop and latino music, while my brother wants to go somewhere really chic too...we are there from saturday till tuesday
Meaning night club! Also something that's on till quite late like 3am?

As for chic, try Mansion, Sinners In Heaven or Jimmy Woo - in that order - strict door policy apparently, but I guess it all depends on what you're used to. Or there's Supper Club. Alternatively, look for flyers and ask in local music stores - I haven't been clubbing in Amsterdam for a while so you might find something new and unique. Have a great time.

In the center:

Bitterzoet never disappoints. It's reasonably chic as nightclubs go, and the music is mainly pretty urban. Definitely not a tacky place. The other place to go to lounge and have a drink is called Suite.

By Leidseplein:

It's a nice square with a HUGE patio, but full of tourists (which can sometimes get annoying). If you go behind the square to the Marnixstraat there are a bunch of smaller, more trendy cafes ... Weber and Lux are both nice.
