Things to do in Amsterdam for curious adults?

My wife and I are visiting in mid November. We are well aware of what Amsterdam is reknowned for and might be brave enough to try some of its adult offerings. We are not into drugs, we mean the adult entertainment industry.
We definately do not want to hire a hooker - but are considering visiting Amsterdams famous Saunas and maybe a lap dancing club or something similar that BOTH of us could enjoy.
Any ideas ?

Just be careful not to get ripped off; these European adult clubs are notorious for ripping off and intimidating American tourists. You may want to do some exploring on the net to get savvy to the system.

Why go there when there are perfectly good swingers clubs here in the good old U.S. of A.?!
