things to do in amsterdam?

heading to amsterdam in a week or so.. looking for things to do other than the obvious. any suggestions appreciated but im not huge on old buildings etc unless something amazing about them. details appreciated price distance etc. thanks

The museum with all the Rembrandts. Anne Franks house. Trip on a water barge through the red light district. Coffee and tiny little cake things in a cafe and, of course, smoke wacky baccy which is legal.

Try to learn some Dutch
Sit at a sidewalk cafe and people watch
