I want to find the details of gun clubs in or near Amsterdam Netherlands?

I'm from England and visit the Netherlands regularly I want to join a club in or near Amsterdam where I can shoot Handguns

Well I'll give you one thing, it's certainly different from the usual Amsterdam questions, but can't help thinking why a frequent visitor to the Netherlands should want to 'pass the time away' by going to a gun club. Never mind, each to their own-------

There are several "schietverenigingen" (shooting clubs) in Amsterdam. I have left a link below. The Netherlands has a strict weapons-policy. Would you like to shoot with handguns as a sports practice, you are obliged to join a shooting club.

Possession of firearms by civilians is prohibited in principle. You have to meet certain conditions to own a gun. The police checks whether you have a criminal record. Each year you must renew your weapon-license and once again prove that if you shoot as a sports-practice. A shooting club has guns, but there are strict rules for ammunition.
