Where can you find some good canal rides near Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam?

I have decided to take a little canal trip for a 7 hour plane layover in the Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. But I don't exactly know how I can find a certain canal ride .where you can take a longish, interesting and close to the Schiphol Airport. Please link a website that includes some canal rides, or a link of a map with the rides pointed out or some sugestions of canal rides close to Schophol airport or just close to a bus station or train staion that goes to the airport. You leave Schiphol by train, get on the first possible one to 'Amsterdam Centraal Station' (Amsterdam's main trainstation) You'll be there in something like, 15 minutes? You walk out front, straightforward and you'll eventually bump into some decent canal rides.

I too will have a layover in Amsterdam, and this is a great idea! So glad you asked the question so I'd go looking for it.
This website has a good bit of info and you can actually book an excursion online. I haven't checked into the length of any of these, but will be doing so to see if I can fit one in on my layover!

LOL, there is no canal ride near Schiphol. There is a lot of water though, but we don't build Airports in the cities, so you would just be on a boat in green meadows.
Better take the fifteen minute train from Schiphol to Amsterdam CS (= central station).
Right in front of the central station are several boat tours through the canals. They all follow about the same route for about an hour.

The entrance to Schiphol train station is in the arrival hall. During day and evening a train will go about every ten minutes. Costs: maybe 5 euro.
