Hi ,
Me, my husband and 18mnths old kid will be travelling to paris this july for 3 to 4 days. We are looking for a cheap accomodation (hotel or hostel) suitable to stay in with a kid, closer to sight seeing places, safe and easily accesible We would also be travelling to brussels and amsterdam after paris. How about ymca or youth hostels..are they good for families with kids? We would appreciate any information that could help us with our trip to Paris,Brussels and Amsterdam, like Hotels, going around the city, places to see, shopping areas, etc. Any cost saving idea is also welcome! |

Hello I am Colombian but I live in Brussels
Amsterdam is about 2 hours by train from brussels and they have something called weekend ticket to amsterdam wich means friday after 7pm until sunday last train u pay 50% off, however it is VITAL that u mention when u purchase the ticket in brussles that u want the weekend ticket. (that is if ur going to amsterdam for the weekend) hotels the cheapest ones ive been are about 130 euros 2 nights (this is in paris), the best bet is to find on in the perfieric area of paris where u can catch a train to the city center. some cheap hotels include f1 hotel and ETAP, I always stay in ETAP for extra 5 euros u can have breakfast.... they are low budget hotels with a bed a tiny tv and bathroom, dont expect super star treatment in these hotels but they do the trick when it comes to sleeping peacefully while on vacation. Check etap on line they have in brussels too and in amsterdam. |
