What would the social and economic impact be to the world if all travel and shipping by air stopped?

In the wake of several airlines declaring bankruptcy, I'm curious to know how harmful it would be to countries, governments, and economies if all travel by air and shipment of goods and cargo by air suddenly stopped. Specifically, I'd like to know which countries would be most/least affected and the types of problems a country would be likely to experience.
