We are Canadian citizens, and I am wondering what ID the children would need for air travel within the US.?

No, No, No...Canadian citizens do NOT need passports to travel by air WITHIN the U.S. You do not need to have them to travel to the U.S. by Land either...so many Canadians travel To the U.S. by LAND and do NOT even have passports with them while they are in the U.S. So...Canadian children do NOT need passports to fly within the U.S. with their parents...as a matter of fact, children WITH their parents do NOT need I.D. to fly. It never hurts to have their birth certificates with you. If a child is travelling as a lap chlid on a flight, airlines often ask to see the birth certificate. You can also CALL the airline you will be using and verify this with them. The adults will need a gov't issued photo I.D.
