Both Airlines have old planes and you won't have plug in systems or individual tvs. Have you already booked your ticket? If not then pick a different airline. Air India is an Indian gov't run airline and it is the worst airline you can travel own. Service is horrible and planes are old.

I wouldn't say Air India is the worst airline. The staff is very courteous and polite. Courtesy has become rare on most american airlines. Air India has a definite situation of plane delays. If you are traveling on a non stop or if the same plane continues after refueling you will be fine. You may want to call the airline to ask if they have any facility to charge your electronics. If you have a layover at some place, you can even recharge while you wait for your next flight.
