Any picture ID should be fine for travel in the USA. You also need tickets and a boarding pass, which you can print off the internet or get at the airport the day of your flight

You need a picture id. Mostly drivers license or student id from a university will do.

travel to USA is strict. u need to check with the US embassy. most likely a biometric passport and a Visa if u come from a country that do no have a agreement with the US for Visa waiver entry for foreigners. do not take it easy. without proper documentation u may not be allowed into the US. The airline that take u there is responsible to take u back.
