Has any one ever traveled on Air India?

I am trying to find an affordable plane ticket to Paris for april. Air India is the cheapest i can find. Is this a good airline. Is it reliable? what are the accommodations, etc?

i dont have personal experience with AI...
but i have quite a few friends working for this airline ... and it's pretty good ...
also, have fmly and frndz who travel AI... and it's comfy, quick, not very fancy, but clean and crisp... overall a good flight...
if it has the best deal for now... go for it .. :)

hey its once a pone a time good one, but if you can get comparable price, better opt the other. From the cheapest point of view you can go a head a head.

I travelled on Air India from London UK to Chicago IL and all I can say is never again it may be the cheapest but with good reason. The aircraft was dirty both on my outbound and return trip, it smelt of stale indian food and was cramped. Also the in flight entertainment consisted of Bollywood films.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
