Am flying on holiday tomorrow and am busy trying to sort out my hand luggage... Am I likely to be able to take things like tweezers in my hand luggage, or would they be considered as a dangerous object?

Depends on the airline and security, but if I were you, I'd take it out to be safe. Officially, they are supposed to allow "small tools less than 7 inches," but sometimes they will even confiscate child's safety scissors.
You can check out the TSA website for the latest info: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm If you really want to, you could print out this page and show it to security if they stop you, but that would slow you down and could be a pain. |

I went on holiday last year (abroad!) and my hand luggage was limited.I wasn't allowed to take tweezers in my hand luggage. It was classified as a "sharp item". If I was you I would put tweezers and other sharp objects in a small plastic bag or case, and put them in your suitcase. Just to be safe, because if security see them in your hand luggage they will take them and destroy them! Or another option is to buy tweezers when you get to your destination. This would stop all the hassle at the airport and then you can dispose them once you have finished.
Have a safe flight and have a brill time!!!!! |

must not exceed more than 5kg, liquids are restricted to small bottles, best to put all toiletries in suitcase in a plastic covering, sharp metal objects such as scisrors are not allowed, best not to take tweezers either, leave things like that in suitcase
