Can a 17 year old travel alone on Ryan Air?
My 17 year old cousin is going to be flying between Paris and Dublin. Ryan Air is so far the cheapest airlines. My cousin is taking a backpack for this trip. I went to Air Linguses website and they allow any person over age 12 to travel alone and arrive at the airport by themselves.
Ryan Airs website is very unclear. It says that persons aged 14-17 must have a parent or gaurdain accompany them.
My cousin will not have her parents with her in Paris. She is visiting friends in Paris and Dublin. She lives in the United States.
Has anyone who is 16 or 17 arrived at the airport and flew RYAN Air alone being dropped off or arriving alone by train, bus or Taxi?
In the United States most airlines when you reach either 12 or 15 you can be dropped offf, take a taxi alone or take a train/bus alone and not be required to have a parent sign you in at the airport.
