Can you hire a portable oxygen machine for air travel?

Can anyone offer any suggestions on where i an hire a portable oxygen concentrator (lowflow) for my daughter to travel by plane from uk to spain? she needs 24hr oxygen and has to have a machine but the nhs dont supply so need to hire one for a trip in march
I have contacted the airline they say it has to be a flight safe concentrator as cylinders are not allowed on there flights

The airline will advise you and also tell you which devices they accept on board. I have always found that he airline is the best starting place and then you are sure that no problems occur when checking in or boarding

If you contact BOC I think you can purchase a small oxygen emergency medical bottle. I know several people who do take oxygen with them when they travel, however I think you need to check with the airline because of the pressures involved in flying, especially long distance.
