It's called motion sickness.
It is caused when your vestibular senses (in the inner ear, which control balance) are upset through 3D motion, vertigo, and/or loss of visual contact with the horizon. It is the same as being 'sea sick'. There are some over-the-counter remedies, like 'Dramamine' and 'Marizene' that prevent motion sickness. There are also devices that are worn on the wrist, that are supposed to prevent motion sickness, however, the effectiveness of these are not proven. (Mythbusters did a segment on some of the 'home remedies' for motion sickness.) |

each person reacts differently to change in the air pressure on the plane , i am sorry this happens to your brother , maybe he can drink some ginger-ale while on the plane.also maybe where he sits on the plane can have a factor too. if he is old enough have him take Dramamine before he goes on the plane a few hrs.before you take off.
