you can travel free or for a small surcharge by working for a courier company, there are some restrictions though. usually you wont be allowed to check a bag as that is how the company transports whatever it is they need to transport. so you are limited to a carry on. also there could be restrictions on when you fly and return trip dates, so if you are flexible in when you can go and like to travel light it can work for you. most companies that do this are based out of major cities,ny, la, sf etc, so it may require some phone tag to get more specific info. good luck

My friend and I went to London a long time ago on courier flights. We had to pay a tiny amount (about $75 or $100 each, this was from NY to London). We had to leave 1 day apart because there was only one opening each day. You can only take your carry-on bags because the courier company checks everything. It also seems a little shady; however nothing went wrong so maybe I'm just paranoid!
We found the company through looking up courier flights in the Yellow Pages. I'm sure you could do the same now, or look in ads in your town's free weekly paper, or Google it. |
