why when travelling in a car moving in a high velocity the ears are full of air?

I usually get this problem when travelling

i think its cos of the pressure build upside the car. try opening the window but then it cause alot of windrush noise

With the way our ears are shaped, the curves, wind flows with the curve of your face (and ears), hitting within and then passes over to the back of your head. This is usually more troublesome with people who have ears that tend to stick-out move or have a larger curve. It varies from person to person, but all together, we don't like the wind going at us. :-P
