Clarify where you have a stop - it can't be the same place as your final destination unless you are immediately returning to your starting point.

You're probably flying Emirates and the answer depends on your nationality. Contact the airline and advise them of your nationality and they can usually issue you a visa on arrival in Dubai.

If your layover was 8 hours or more in certain fares, the airline would also pay for a room for you.
