What would make air travel easier and more tolerable in these post-9/11 times?

I say give everyone a Fed-Ex box and let them check their baggage on a completely separate flight.

Take out 1/3 of the seats and just raise prices 33%. I would gladly pay extra to have some damned leg room.

Jet Blue's big marketing thing last year was to take out something like three lousy rows and thereby give people an extra three inches. Whoopee-freaking-do.

that would really be a good idea. no joke. I fly at least once a year for a 9 hour direct. putting baggage on a cargo would be brilliant!!! problem is with the hand baggage, to tell you the truth I smuggle 4 liters of homemade "grappa" which is moonshine in a water bottle in my hand luggage each time I go... they really don't check that thoroughly... I fly from Italy to Toronto... and can easily get into the states (15 min away from buffalo) security is a hassle but I still get through...go figure!

Even that won't help I think it might be better to go UPS in one of those big fragile shipping crates via overnight delivery. After all they get the perishables I order to me quickly and in great shape and the rates are decent. So let Brown do it! Fly Brown today.
