would reccomend buying maleria tabs in s africa if your staying in s africa for a week before going to zambia, there a third of the price over. we camped from s africa, namibia, botswana to zimbabwe and drunk the water from the camp sites, all stomachs were fine, but if you go white water rafting dont drink the zambezee water. take diarahara tabs just in case, and take lip balm your need it |

Actually, be careful IF you decide to take the malaria tablets - the larium can cause psychotic breaks and depressive episodes ( oh, so much fun while traveling)
and the pills in reality mask the symptoms of malaria if you contract it making the response time longer and increasing your chances of getting really sick. People in the safari business suggest that you skip the malaria pills ( only 50% effective anyway) and just get treated very quickly if you do happen to get it. Also with malaria - check the weather - if you go during the winter the mosquitos are not bad at all. |
