You dont want much do you *grin*
Try searching the web for prices as different airlines will have different deals. Same will apply with accomodation in Cape Town, the net will provide loads of options..you will have to ultimately decide what suits your budget for travel & accomodation. |

Cape Town can be expensive, they know there are a lot of tourists coming in from overseas. Try and steer clear of big hotels - they will overcharge you. Try and see hostelworld.com - they offer hostels, budget hotels (1-3 star).
If you can avoid fancy restaurants - they have been known to charge R80 (thats $13 US) for a sandwich. Go and eat at popular chain restaurants like the Spur, Dros, Mug and Bean, Porterhouse ect ect. I live in South Africa and their food is maybe a tad boring, but cheap and it tastes o.k. Why only go to cape town? Visit up Nort in the Kruger National Park! Get a flight to Johannesburg. You can then make that your central point for your journey. You can get cheap connecting flights from there to all destinations in RSA like George, Kruger Park (Nelspruit), Cape Town, Durban ect. Check kulula.com and 1time.com or 1 time.co.za. also do a search on yahoo for Nationwide Airlines in RSA> Hope this helps you! |

I am from Durban South Africa, living now in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The last time I looked at flights it was about $2300 CAN From Wpg to Tor. to Johannesburg, I think you would be looking at about $3000 from Toronto to Cape Town. Tiger valley Centre is a mall in Cape town, bit expensive. small Cafes are better priced for burgers about 10 Rand. If you have any friend down there that is your best bet for accomodation.
