I'm 27 and he's 30. We've been together for a year and a half and have never taken a trip with one another. Is traveling important in a relationship? He is always complaining about not having enough money to take trips and whenever he goes home to visit his family (which is out of state), his mom purchases his plane tickets. I feel like I'm dating a college boyfriend and not someone in their 30's.

Travel can be inexpensive if you choose the right places, therefore the cost shouldn't be much of an issue.
Is your man cheap or just broke? At thirty someone can have a lot of debt. You have to ask yourself whether you can be in a relationship like this for a long period of time if traveling and doing things that cost some money mean a lot to you. If not..get out! Good Luck. :) |
