How can I get donations to travel to Africa - Mercy Ship?

I am going to Africa to work on the Mercy Ship (Free Medical Services/Surgery) for disabled and deformed people. I am looking for financial sponsership.

Write a letter to Bono and another to Bill Gates.

I firmly believe that charity begins at home. The ones that go to another country to "contribute" are just running away from their lives here. And I never, ever give money to runaways.

Get people to sponsor you i.e walk raise money for good cause. Sell raffle tickets and give prize.

Get a grant that you dont have to pay back look on internet there are many programs you just have to write a good essay abt the $$$$
