Does anyone know what i should wear whilst travelling through KwaZulu Natal in South Africa?

I've heard that a high necked dress that is below the knee would be appropriate, but would it be seen as disrespectful to go in jeans and a t-shirt?

Jeans and t-shirt are fine. Don't know who told you to wear a high necked dress - that is ridiculous! If going in summer it gets very humid down there so wear something lighter than jeans.

Wear anything you are comfortable in- everybody does !

South africans are super chilled out people who like to dress nicely, but are not critical of what you were. If you go during summer I would highly recommend strappy tops and skirts or shorts - becuase of the heat and humidity. Jeans are perfect for cooler weather.

Hey... read the advice given by the others. Then get a good hat or cap and a bunch of sunscreen. You'll burn like a rabbit in a microwave otherwise. Enjoy your trip.

Don't know where you got the idea of the dress. Jeans and t-shirt are perfect and the norm. If it is hot, you might want to wear shorts or 3/4 pants and a cool strappy top.
