Do you have to change your name on your passport when you marry in order to travel?

I was told I could just travel with a certified marriage certificate with my old passport. It doesn't need to be renewed until 2012.

As long as you don't change your name on any other documents, you are fine.

You dont need to you just nned to make sure that the name on your plane ticket matches the name on your passport. So if your maiden name is on your passport then book your ticket in your maiden name too.

My cousin made this mistake 2 days ago. She was gogint o australia and bokked her tickey with her married name but its her maiden name on the pasprt and they wouldnt let her on the plane. She had to have the tickets changed and have a courier rush them to the airport (at a huge cost) and ended up being delayed 8 hours.
