Im from the U.S. planning to travel somewhere with two of my college friends who are originally from Guatemala and Mexico. They both speak fluent Spanish and go back to visit family every few years. We all want to travel to see new things and meet new people. But I really want to experience something other than American culture (Im the only one that has yet to travel internationally) Europe seems much more expensive now on a college student budget. Anywhere else that you consider a must-go for a first time international traveler but will be different enough for my friends?
